The building renovation, delightful staff, fresh and delicious food, spacious room, and excellent hospitality made our stay at Mahal Khas Palace in Bharatpur truly special.

Almost perfect.

Staying in an old palace with preserved vintage accessories was an incredible experience. Being able to explore the many floors and admire the original paintings and murals provided a true glimpse into history. the staff were kind and attentive, providing excellent service. Upon reaching the top, the view of the entire Lohagarh fort was breathtaking.

Sadly, the breakfast service was slow and complicated to order, leaving me feeling frustrated at times.

The hotel has a stunning architecture and offers huge rooms that are well decorated and equipped with air conditioning and a TV. The courtyard is a great place to dine and enjoy some good local food. The staff is very friendly, prompt, and courteous. The hotel's location is perfect for a quick family trip, providing a quiet and historic atmosphere.

Some parts of the hotel are still under repair, and the maintenance of some features needs improvement, such as the bed, washbasin counter, steel bolt on the room door, balcony. the food quality was not up to the mark.
